Sasa Stojovic
Senior Therapist & Administrator

SASA_PORTRAIT_1.1.png

Sasa Stojovic is an Existential-Analytic Psychotherapist (UKCP accredited).

Sasa works with clients experiencing manifold variations of suffering from everyday misery to profound and disconcerting despair. From identifiable complaints to more diffuse and unknown confusions and conflicts, Sasa provides a therapeutic space that facilitates the client’s ability to explore their deep rooted and primary core issues that have contributed to the manifestation of often distressing symptoms.

Centering on the experience of the client, consideration is given to the client’s psychological, sexual, historical and social contexts as well as the place they occupy in relation to the world.

Sasa believes that therapy provides a place for an intersubjective therapeutic encounter where individuals who feel displaced, misplaced, alienated and frightened can begin to raise questions about the neglected and forgotten aspects in their lives.

Having been the Associate Editor for the European Journal for Psychotherapy and Counselling (EJPC) and with her own PhD research in progress, Sasa keeps abreast of emerging research and developments in practice. With a background in the arts, Sasa understands the need to live a creative life rich with possibility and discovery. Sasa is working towards her PhD with a focus on the unspeakable within the psychological therapies.

Sasa works in private practice and tends to work on a long-term basis but also provides shorter-term therapy.
